INTRODUCTION

In the course of its business, Produits Belt-Tech Inc. (hereinafter “Equine Signature” or “we”) collects, uses and processes personal and other information in the course of its operations. PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED

In the course of our operations or when you browse through our Website, fill out a form, store on our Website or send an e-mail to our team, Equine Signature may collect or request personally identifiable information. By law, personal information is any information about an identifiable individual. Online store

When you make a purchase from our online store, we collect the following information:

Your last name, first name, home address, e-mail address and telephone number.

We also collect your credit card number, but this is communicated directly by our direct payment partner, Global Payments. We never collect or store your credit card information on our computer system. We ensure that our partner, Global Payments, takes adequate security measures to protect your personal data, including your financial data. As part of their operation, Global Payments uses computer servers outside Quebec and Canada to store electronic information.

Website

You do not need to register or use a password to access our website. However, it is possible to create a user account.

When you create a user account, we collect your e-mail address and password.

Personal information that is usually recorded by Internet servers may be collected when you browse through our Website, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, the date and time of access, and the operating system and browser you are using. Demographic statistics on our visitors (age group, country of origin, language of correspondence, etc.) and their browsing habits (pages consulted, number of visits, duration of consultation, etc.) are also considered personal information.

Equine Signature uses and discloses your personal information only with your consent, except as permitted by law. Personal data collection is for the purpose of communicating with you, providing you with the services and information you request or providing you with information that may be of interest to you.

No information is sold, distributed, traded or given to third parties unless required by law or with your consent, and except as stated in this Policy.

Your personal information is used for the following purposes

  • To provide and maintain our website, including monitoring its use;
  • To fulfill a sales contract;
  • Make online payments via our store and carry out billing, which information is then passed on to our financial service providers;

Information associated with your account is generally retained until it is no longer required to provide our services, or until you ask us to delete it or your account is deleted, subject to our legal and ethical retention obligations. They are then securely destroyed.
